Andrew Jones

Andrew Jones currently serves as the Head of Research at Cogent Skills, where leadership involves managing a team focused on Labour Market Intelligence data modeling to inform workforce strategy. Previously, Andrew held the position of Head of Policy & Research at MillionPlus, contributing to evidence-based policy solutions in higher education. An academic background includes roles as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UCL and the University of Exeter, with significant contributions to projects analyzing legal responses to Covid-19 and the impact of Brexit and the pandemic on individuals. Research experience also covers international news analysis of Covid-19 and humanitarianism, alongside teaching positions in politics. Andrew holds a PhD in Behavioural Political Science and a BA in International Relations from the University of Leicester.
