Konstantinos Barmpas

Konstantinos Barmpas has extensive work experience in machine learning and software engineering. Currently, they are working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Cogitat, where they develop novel deep learning methods for EEG-based Brain Computer Interfaces. Prior to that, they worked as a PhD Candidate and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London, specializing in machine learning. During their time there, they taught courses on Introduction to Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

Konstantinos also worked as a Data Scientist at Smart Power Networks, where they developed machine learning-based forecasting tools for energy data predictions. Additionally, they designed and developed the cloud infrastructure using Dockers and tools from Microsoft Azure.

Before that, Konstantinos founded The Mouse Team, where they researched and developed various original apps and worked with clients to create custom Android applications.
