Raj Gupta

Raj Gupta is the Chief Engineering Officer for Cogito. He is responsible for leading, building, and inspiring the very talented and high-performing global engineering teams in his software development organization. In addition, he is focused on creating innovative and complex enterprise technology solutions at scale. Prior to joining Cogito, Raj was Chief Development Officer at Vera Security, a cloud-based Digital Rights Management software company, that he helped grow rapidly and lead to its successful acquisition. Raj has over 25 years’ experience in leading product strategy, innovation, and global software development teams at technology startups as well as large software enterprises. He has held executive roles at Silicon Graphics, Nice Systems, and Oracle Corporation. Raj has a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Ohio State University and a Master of Liberal Arts in Management from Harvard University.
