Aleksei Sosnovski

Aleksei Sosnovski has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies. Aleksei is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Cognite since 2021. Prior to this, they held roles at Twilio, where they started as a Junior Software Engineer in 2016 and gradually progressed to become a Staff Software Engineer, serving as the de facto tech lead for a small team. At Twilio, their main responsibilities involved supporting and dividing a monolithic system into microservices without any downtime. Before joining Twilio, Aleksei worked at Kuehne + Nagel as a Team Lead and Senior Java Developer from 2013 to 2016, and at ZeroTurnaround as a Java Engineer from 2011 to 2013. Their career started at TietoEnator Eesti AS in 2006, where they worked as a Software Developer, Senior Software Developer, and Technical Project Manager until 2011. Aleksei's first job was as a Junior Software Developer at Aqris Software AS from 2005 to 2006.

Aleksei Sosnovski earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Informatics from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology. Aleksei completed this degree from 2003 to 2008.
