Anders Daljord Morken

Anders Daljord Morken has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Anders has worked as a Senior Director of Engineering at Cognite since 2019, leading a team in delivering high-performance software for managing industrial data. Prior to that, they held the role of Tech Lead and Principal Software Engineer at Cognite from 2019 to 2022, where they developed and delivered SaaS solutions for heavy-asset industries.

Before joining Cognite, Morken worked at Cxense as an Engineering Lead from 2018 to 2019, playing a key role in improving service quality and team productivity for a big data analytics product. Anders also served as a Senior Software Engineer at Cxense from 2014 to 2019, contributing to the development and delivery of a SaaS product with high traffic.

Morken has prior experience at Telenor as a Software Engineer and Site Reliability Engineer from 2011 to 2014, and at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer from 2009 to 2011. Anders began their career at Google as a Software Engineer, working on internal data processing infrastructure projects and Google Alerts from 2007 to 2009.

Morken also has academic experience, having worked part-time as a systems administrator at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology from 2002 to 2007. Anders also served as a Teaching Assistant for the Advanced Database Systems course in 2007.

Anders Daljord Morken completed their MSc in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2002 and 2007.
