Nils Barlaug

Nils Barlaug has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Nils recently started their work as a PhD student at NTNU in 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Cognite AS starting in 2018. Nils also has teaching experience, as they served as a Teaching Assistant and Student Assistant at NTNU from 2014 to 2017, where they were involved in teaching courses related to algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming. Additionally, Nils has gained valuable industry experience through summer internships at Zedge, Microsoft, and KONGSBERG. Outside of their academic and professional roles, Nils has also worked as a tennis coach at Vestre Bærum Tennisklubb from 2006 to 2013.

Nils Barlaug completed their education in a chronological order. Nils attended Valler videregående skole (high school) from 2010 to 2013, specializing in General Studies. Following this, they pursued a single course, MAT1100U, at the University of Oslo (UiO) from 2012 to 2013. Nils then went on to enroll in the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2013 to 2018, where they completed a Master's degree program in Computer Science, lasting 5 years.
