Stephen Boccioli

Stephen Boccioli has a diverse and extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Stephen currently holds the position of VP Oil and Gas Solutions at Cognite since September 2021. Previously, they worked at SCDM ENERGY Ltd as a Technical Director from October 2015 to November 2021, where they were responsible for all technical aspects and value assurance of operations, as well as contributing to business development activities in various regions.

Before that, Boccioli served as an Exploration Manager at Bayerngas Norge AS from March 2013 to October 2015, where they established a multi-disciplinary exploration team and implemented strategies for organic growth. Stephen also had successful participation in licensing rounds.

From 2008 to 2013, Boccioli worked at DONG Energy, first as the Head of the subsurface department from January 2011 to February 2013, where they supported Norwegian assets and was responsible for various management plans and exploration projects. Prior to this role, they were the Subsurface Manager - Field Development from October 2008 to December 2010, and a Senior Geophysicist from January 2008 to September 2008.

Boccioli began their career at Shell Oil Company as a Production Seismologist from September 2006 to December 2007. Stephen'sresponsibilities included coordination of G&G work, appraisal operations, and reservoir modeling. Prior to that, they worked at BG Group as a Geophysicist from April 2002 to August 2006, where they were involved in various technical positions, including licensing rounds, exploration activities, and international projects.

Stephen'searly career started at Schlumberger, where they worked as a Geophysicist from June 1999 to March 2002.

Stephen Boccioli obtained their MBA degree in Management and Business Administration from IE Business School during the period of 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended Pierre and Marie Curie University from 1999 to 2000, although it is unknown what degree or field of study they pursued during their time there.
