Technical Lead at Cognite

Vincent Gay has a solid work experience spanning over two decades. Vincent began their career as a Software Developer at Schlumberger in 2000, where they worked until 2003. Vincent then worked at BK CONSULTING as a Software Developer from November 2003 to February 2004. Vincent then joined Vega Technologies as a Software Developer from March 2004 to February 2006. In 2006, they returned to Schlumberger and held various positions, including Software Engineer from March 2006 to October 2011, Senior Software Engineer from November 2011 to August 2015, and Senior software engineer from September 2015 to March 2019. During their time at Schlumberger, they worked on the Petrel Foundation, collaborating with a distributed team across Houston, Budapest, and Oslo, and played a crucial role in the architecture and implementation of new web-based workflows.

In 2019, Vincent joined Cognite as a software engineer and technical leader. Vincent has accelerated their career at Cognite and is currently working as a Technical Lead. Vincent'sresponsibilities include back-end development of the core Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) APIs, implementing geospatial capabilities, and promoting a DevOps culture.

Vincent Gay completed their education in a chronological manner. Vincent first attended Lycée Laure-Gatet from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained their Baccalauréat. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse from 1995 to 2000.
