Eileen Patrick

Eileen Patrick recently joined Cognition Financial as Vice Chair of Finance. Prior to joining Cognition Financial, she served as Head of Strategy for PennantPark. She was responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives, including a merger with MCGC Capital Corp. and launching the Company's first two middle market CLOs. Before joining PennantPark, Eileen was Executive Vice President of Strategy for Apollo Investment and served as a Vice President and member of the Investment Committee for the manager of Apollo Residential Mortgage Inc. (NYSE: AMTG). While at Apollo, she also spearheaded the acquisition of MidCap Financial, a middle market focused specialty lender. Before joining Apollo, Eileen was a Managing Director at JP Morgan in the Financial Institutions Group, a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns with oversight of the Specialty Finance Investment Banking effort, a Vice President at Salomon Smith Barney Citigroup, and as a Senior Accountant in the financial services audit practice at Deloitte & Touche. Eileen holds a BS in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University Scholars Program graduating summa cum laude and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University School of Business. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
