Kevin Kerrigan

Prior to joining Cognition Financial, Kevin worked at Egenera, a high technology company in Boxborough, MA. He served as CEO of Egenera from March 2018 to July 2019, CFO, Secretary and Treasurer from October 2009 to March 2018 and VP, Finance from February 2008 to October 2009. From April 2004 to February 2008, Kevin worked in the corporate finance department of Cognition Financial (First Marblehead) serving as VP, Finance at the time he left. Prior to Cognition, Kevin served as the Controller of Diacrin, a publicly traded biotechnology company, and held positions in the audit divisions of Ernst & Young LLP and Price Waterhouse LLP. Kevin has been a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts since 1996. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Massachusetts Society of Public Accounts. He received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Merrimack College and a Masters in Taxation degree from Northeastern University.
