We are looking for a talented, highly motivated software engineer with proficiency in machine learning technologies. This engineer will play a key role in the development of our ML Ops platform. Your work will directly enable Cognitiv's team of data scientists to build the next generation of deep learning models that allow our campaigns to perform at scale.   This position will be located in Bellevue, WA with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office (Mon/Tue/Wed) and 2 days remote (Thursday/Friday). The schedule is the same across all business units/office locations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design, architecture and development of critical projects
  • Analyze new and existing system requirements and propose novel solutions
  • Implement and maintain efficient back-end services using C# and Postgres
  • Implement and maintain ML Ops platforms using a combination of industry standard systems as well as proprietary, in- house built tools
  • Be a mentor for Junior Engineers through Code Reviews, Pair Programming, Design Reviews.
  • Develop automated testing and benchmarking routines

Requirements

  • BS or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or related field
  • 4+ years' experience programming with object-oriented language (C#, Java, C++, etc.)
  • Ability to own services end-to-end in service life cycle (planning, design, delegation, release, testing, etc.)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
  • Used to being held to high expectations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using enterprise cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
  • Experience with containerized application (Docker)
  • Experience with Terraform (infrastructure as code)
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with ML Ops technologies (Orchestration, Model Management, Feature Stores, etc)

Salary

  • $160,000-$210,000 Base Salary + Equity
