Jaime Gerkin, PHR, SHRM-CP

Jaime Gerkin, PHR, SHRM-CP has over 12 years of experience in Human Resources. From 2014-present, Gerkin has held various positions at Cognitive Medical Systems, Inc., including Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Administration and Human Resources, and Director of Human Resources. From 2011-2014, Gerkin was a Human Resources Business Partner at Wood Group Mustang (formerly Alliance Engineering), where they provided day to day guidance to senior management, conducted employee relations investigations, identified training needs, and worked closely with management and employees to improve work relationships. Gerkin also held a contract position as an HRIS Consultant at Great West Life in 2011. From 2008-2011, Gerkin was a Human Resources Generalist at Shaw Stone and Webster, and from 2007-2008, Gerkin was a Human Resources Assistant at The Shaw Group, where they conducted employee relation investigations, developed and executed new hire paperwork and transfers, coordinated benefits, and maintained data systems.

Jaime Gerkin holds a Masters degree in Organizational Leadership & Human Resource Management and Leadership from Regis University, obtained in 2013. In 2011, they obtained a PHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Jaime also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Northern Colorado, obtained in 2007. Finally, they hold a High School Diploma from Grandview High School, obtained in 2003. In 2015, they obtained a SHRM-CP certification from SHRM.
