Nicola Anderson

Nicola Anderson currently serves as Head of Data Science at Cognitive3D since June 2023, building on extensive experience at The University of British Columbia, where Nicola has held multiple roles including Honorary Research Associate and Senior Researcher since November 2016. Nicola leads a team of over 15 researchers and developers, provides training and mentorship, and collaborates with stakeholders on study design and data analysis. Previous positions include Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of British Columbia, where Nicola developed a novel VR eye and head tracking research program, and Researcher at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where Nicola established a widely recognized data analysis method. Nicola's academic background includes a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and multiple degrees from The University of British Columbia, totaling over 20 publications and talks while managing significant research funding.
