Mihaly Hajos

Mihaly Hajos is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Cognito Therapeutics, Inc. Mihaly started this role in May 2019 and is still employed there. Prior to this, they served as a Professor (Adjunct) of Comparative Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine starting in 2011. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Principal Investigator at Biogen. Mihaly was a Research Fellow at Pfizer from 2003 to 2011. Before that, they held the position of Senior Principal Scientist at Pharmacia from 1999 to 2003. Mihaly Hajos also has experience at the University of Oxford, where they worked as a Faculty Member of Clinical Medicine from 1995 to 1999 and as a Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow from 1991 to 1999. Mihaly began their career as an Assistant Professor of Physiology at Szent-Gyorgyi Medical School in 1988 and remained in this position until 1993.

Mihaly Hajos has a degree in Pharm.D. from Szent-Gyorgyi Medical School in Szeged, Hungary. Mihaly is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the University of Gothenburg, although the start and end years of their education are not provided.
