Dennis Wall has worked in a variety of roles since 2001. Wall, started as an NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University in 2001. In 2004, they became an Associate Professor of Pathology and Director of Computational Biology Initiative at Harvard Medical School, and in 2011 they became an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. In 2013, they founded Cognoa, a company dedicated to improving the precision and speed with which we assess children for autism or other developmental delays. In 2014, they became Professor of Pediatrics and of Biomedical Data Science at Stanford, Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Biomedical Data Science, and Psychiatry (by courtesy), and Director of The Hartwell Foundation Autism Research and Technology Initiative. In 2015, they founded Tuild. In 2020, they became a FACMI at the American Medical Informatics Association.
Dennis Wall obtained a postdoctoral degree in Computational Biology from Stanford University between 2001 and 2003. From 1996 to 2001, they obtained a PhD in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. In November 2020, they were awarded the Fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics by the American Medical Informatics Association.
