Samantha Roberts

Sam joined the Cognosis leadership team as HR Director in June 2019, and is responsible for our entire people proposition, from recruitment to resourcing, engagement, development and reward - and everything else in between.

Sam studied Politics and Philosophy at UEA and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD. Though she has spent the most substantial part of her HR career in professional services (at KPMG & EY), she has worked in a diverse range of organisations, large and small, spanning both the public and private sector.

Outside of the office, Sam’s passions are her family, friends, travel and quizzes! Red wine and chocolate also feature heavily. Aside from this, she is trying to improve her knowledge of football and chess – mainly to avoid being embarrassed by her young son for her lack of knowledge in one and ability in the other!
