David Cassman

David Cassman has a diverse work experience in the field of finance, with their most recent role being the Finance Director at Cogora. Before joining Cogora in November 2021, they worked as a Financial Controller at WPP from February 2018 to November 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Finance Manager at Tes from July 2017 to January 2018.

David has also worked as a Senior Accountant Financial Reporting at Holcim from May 2015 to April 2017, where they had responsibilities for group reporting, statutory accounting, and financial statements.

Earlier in their career, David held positions at EY as an Assistant Manager and Senior Auditor from August 2011 to May 2015. During their time at EY, they led external audit engagements and provided coaching to senior and junior accountants.

Additionally, David worked as a Senior Associate at CrossCountry Consulting from October 2013 to March 2014, where they audited an upstream oil & gas client and performed audit procedures under US GAAS and US GAAP.

David started their career as an External Auditor at Hanrick Curran from January 2009 to August 2011.

David Cassman attended QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business degree in Accounting. In 2011, they enrolled at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and completed a certification program to become a Chartered Accountant Member in January 2012.
