Richard Hill has extensive experience in real estate strategy and research. Richard is currently Senior Vice President and Head of the Real Estate Strategy Group at Cohen & Steers. Prior to this, they served as Managing Director and Head of U.S. REIT Equity & CRE Debt Research at Morgan Stanley, where they also held the position of Head of CMBS & CRE Debt Research. Before joining Morgan Stanley, they were the Director of CMBS & CLO Strategy at RBS Greenwich Capital. Richard Hill began their career at Banc of America Securities, where they held the role of Vice President and managed a team responsible for the origination, structuring, and execution of Commercial Real Estate CDOs. Richard also worked in the Interest Rate Derivatives Group, where they focused on structuring hedging strategies for real estate developers and homebuilders. Richard later joined Bank of America as a Strategic Transaction Banker. Overall, Richard Hill brings a wealth of experience in real estate finance and strategy to their current role at Cohen & Steers.

Richard Hill attended Georgetown University from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) with a focus on Finance and Theology. Richard also completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business during the same period.
