Now you may be wondering what your day-to-day will look like. You will...

  • Strong technical skills to understand & interpret complex financial and actuarial Excel models.

  • Communicate with key stakeholders to resolve project / product issues and present project outcomes.

  • Creatively ideate, document and present scalable use-case solutions, internally to senior management and externally to clients.

  • Lead team members to execute actuarial solutions, deliver quality services and promote best practices.

  • Manage projects, with an ability to oversee and contribute to multiple concurrent projects.

  • Play a key role in managing client communication and relationships.

  • Mentor junior and mid-level actuarial staff.

What skills the candidate will need to get the job done…

  • University graduate / major in Actuarial Science

  • Associate / Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, India (AIAI, FIAI) or Institute & Faculty of Actuaries, UK (AIA, FIA) or equivalent qualification.

  • 6-12 of actuarial work experience in the insurance industry / actuarial consultancy - experience in insurance pricing, scenario analysis, EV reporting, actuarial modelling highly desirable.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills is required to manage internal and external stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of VBA / Python is a plus.

  • Experience with / knowledge of actuarial software applications (Prophet, R etc.) is helpful, but not necessary.

  • Ability to lead and manage a team of junior staff.

  • Strong analytical and data management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
