Wiebke Hahn

Wiebke Hahn has comprehensive work experience in the field of engineering and physics. Wiebke is currently employed as a Lead Product Engineer at Coherent Inc. since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Research and Development Engineer at II-VI Laser Enterprise Zürich from October 2020 to October 2022. Wiebke also completed their Ph.D. in Physics from École Polytechnique with a focus on "Disorder-induced localization effects in nitride semiconductor compounds and devices" from October 2016 to September 2020. During their doctoral studies, they conducted fundamental research on material properties and utilized unique characterization techniques. Wiebke also worked as a visiting researcher at UC Santa Barbara in February 2018 and July 2017.

Wiebke Hahn completed their education in Physics, starting with a Bachelor of Science degree from TU Dortmund University in 2012-2015. Wiebke then pursued a Master of Science degree from the same university from 2015-2017. Finally, they completed their doctoral degree, a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD, from École Polytechnique from 2017-2020.
