Marc Pondel

Marc Pondel, PhD has an extensive work experience in various roles within the medical affairs and scientific services field. Marc is currently the Executive Director of Medical Affairs at Coherus BioSciences, where they have been since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Medical Affairs at the same company from 2021 to 2023. Before joining Coherus BioSciences, Marc was the Director of US Medical Affairs, Immunology and Fibrosis at Bristol Myers Squibb from 2021 to 2021. Marc also had a role as the Director of Medical Affairs at TAIHO ONCOLOGY INC from 2018 to 2020. Marc has also held leadership positions in scientific services, serving as the Senior Vice President and Director of Scientific Services at PRECISIONeffect from 2015 to 2016, and as the VP and Director of Scientific Services from 2014 to 2015. Marc was also the Vice President and Medical Director at Health4Brands, Back Bay from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, Marc has academic experience, having worked as an Associate Professor of Molecular Medicine at the University of London from 1996 to 2006. Prior to that, they were a Senior Research Fellow/Principal Investigator at Oxford University, Sir William Dunn School of Pathology from 1989 to 1996. Marc also had a fellowship at UCLA as an NIH Tumor Cell Biology Fellow from 1988 to 1989.

Marc Pondel, PhD completed their doctoral degree in Cell Biology and Anatomy at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Prior to that, they were a MRC Molecular Haematology Fellow at the University of Oxford.
