Scott L. Klakamp

Scott L. Klakamp is a distinguished expert in biophysical consulting and research, currently serving as Principal Consultant at SKD Consulting LLC since March 2024, specializing in protein/protein and small molecule/protein interactions using Biacore biosensors and KinExA. With extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, Scott has held significant roles, including Distinguished Research Fellow at Coherus Oncology, where leadership of the Molecular Interactions Group takes precedence. Previous positions include Sr. Director and Head of Biophysics at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies and Vice President of Chemistry and Biochemistry at BiOptix Inc. Scott’s academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Bioinorganic Chemistry from Pennsylvania State University and a B.A. in Chemistry with a Math minor from Houghton University.
