Prashant Pogde

Prashant Pogde is a highly experienced engineer and architect specializing in data protection, storage systems, and cloud infrastructure. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Cloudera and a PMC member and committer at The Apache Software Foundation since November 2019, Prashant has also held significant roles at Cohesity, where responsibilities include enhancing the DataProtection core infrastructure, and Oracle, where Prashant was the architect for cloud-based file systems. Previous positions include Senior Principal Engineer at EMC, Principal Engineer at Yahoo!, and roles at Blue Coat Systems, Network Appliance, Microsoft, and Veritas Software, accumulating extensive expertise in designing and implementing large-scale storage solutions. Prashant's educational background includes a Master's in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from SGSITS.
