Satish Gupta Vemuri

Satish Gupta Vemuri is an accomplished engineering leader with over 25 years of experience in product development and management in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Cohesity since June 2018, Satish leads the Data Protection team and has successfully delivered comprehensive data protection solutions for major platforms, enabling the product to join the Gartner Leaders Quadrant in 2020. Satish has held significant roles at Riverbed Technology as Director of Engineering, managing the development of SteelFusion, and at NetApp as Senior Engineering Manager in WAFL Filesystem engineering. Satish's experience also includes managerial positions at Sun Microsystems, overseeing the design of enterprise-class tape emulation products, and technical leadership at Wipro Technologies. Satish's educational background includes a PGSEM from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, an M.Tech in IT from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, and a BE from Andhra University.
