Kevin Chen is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend and frontend development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Coinbase since May 2022, Kevin has previously contributed to Amazon as a Software Development Engineer and Babylon Health as a Senior Software Engineer, where backend Java Spring Boot microservices and a ReactJS frontend were developed to enhance healthcare operations. Prior roles include Software Engineer at Spanning Cloud Apps, where cloud data backup services were created, and Integration Engineer positions at DaVita Inc. and Epic, focusing on database scripting and electronic data interchange. Kevin began a professional journey as an Engineering Intern at CB&I and holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, graduated in 2015.
