Mike Mallia

Mike Mallia has over 15 years of professional work experience. Mike began their career in 2005 as a Work Experience Administration Assistant at Cardiff County Council. In 2007, they worked as a Floor/Bar Assistant at Ba Orient. From 2009 to 2013, Mike worked as a Sales Assistant at John Lewis. During this time, they also worked as an IT Analyst at b2b IT Services. In 2013, Mike became the Innovation Lab Lead, Lead Support Analyst, and Business Analyst at LV=. In 2017, they held the role of Managing Director at endpnt Innovation, as well as Product Innovation Consultant at Co-op Insurance. Since 2019, they have been a Senior Product Owner at Backbase, and most recently at Coincover in 2021.

Mike Mallia has a diverse educational background. Mike obtained their GCSEs from Corpus Christi R.C. High School in 2001-2006, focusing on Maths, Science, English, Geography, Theirtory, Religious Education, Business Studies, and Welsh. From 2006-2008, they attended Saint David's Catholic College and obtained their A-Levels in the Welsh Baccalaureate, Geography, Applied ICT, Physics, and Mathematics. Finally, from 2009-2012, they attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd and obtained their Bsc Information Systems in Business, Computer Science, and Information Technology. Additionally, Mike has obtained a PDCA (Plan, Do, Check and Act) certification.
