Edwin Tan

Edwin Tan is currently serving as General Counsel, Head of Legal and Compliance, and Senior Legal Counsel at CoinJar since November 2021. Prior to this, Edwin worked at ASIC, Australia's corporate, markets, and financial services regulator, where Edwin held the position of Lawyer in the Insurers (Executive Level 1) and Credit, Banking & Payments (APS 6) departments from August 2019 to November 2021. Before their role at ASIC, Edwin was a Lawyer in Financial Services Regulation at K&L Gates from March 2017 to August 2019. Edwin also has experience as a Software Engineer at Constraint Technologies International from June 2012 to May 2014. Edwin holds a Master of Laws (Juris Doctor) and a Bachelor of Computer Science from Monash University.
