Jerri Coble

Jerri Coble has a diverse work experience background. Jerri started their career as a PFC IT Specialist in the US Army from June 2008 to July 2009. After that, they worked as a Civil Intake Clerk at the Harris County District Clerk from May 2012 to April 2014. Following this, Jerri joined Galligan & Manning as a File Clerk from April 2015 to January 2017. Jerri then worked at Schwartz, Page & Harding, L.L.P. as a Legal File Clerk from January 2017 to April 2018, and later as a Legal Secretary from April 2018 to April 2023. Currently, they are working as a Litigation Legal Secretary at Cokinos | Young since April 2023. Throughout their career, Jerri has gained experience in various legal support roles, including organizing and maintaining filing systems, handling correspondence, scanning and archiving documents, and managing fees associated with court filings.

Jerri Coble's education history begins in 2007 when they enrolled at Texas Southern University. Jerri pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a focus on Administration of Justice, completing their studies in 2008.

After that, Jerri attended Houston Community College from 2014 to 2016, where they earned an Associates of Applied Science in Legal Assistant/Paralegal. During this time, they also obtained additional certifications, including a Certified Paralegal (CP) from Houston Community College in May 2016 and a Law Office Clerk certification, also from Houston Community College, in the same month and year.

In 2022, Jerri resumed their education at Houston Community College briefly, completing an Associate of Arts in Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies, General.

Currently, Jerri is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) degree in Applied Administration at the University of Houston-Downtown, which they started in 2022 and is expected to finish in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Jerri has obtained various certifications outside of their degree programs. These include becoming a Texas Notary Public in August 2015 through the Texas Office of the Secretary of State, obtaining a TWIC Card Holder certification from TSA in September 2014, and obtaining a TABC certification from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission in July 2015.
