Dan Visel

Dan Visel is an experienced developer and freelance designer, currently working at Coko since August 2021 and managing a freelance business since 2013. Dan's extensive background includes roles such as UX Developer at Internet Archive, Creative Technologist at Chemistry, and Lead Developer at Screentakes Digital Publishing, where Dan focused on interactive electronic books. Dan's foundational experience includes co-founding Unfold Inc., managing the Modern Language Association's social network, and working as a researcher at The Institute for the Future of the Book. An accomplished book designer at Sparknotes, Dan contributed to the design of a large series of study guides and implemented systems for multiple format outputs. Dan holds an A.B. in English & American Literature & Language from Harvard University.
