Jim L. Renfrow is a highly experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in clinical laboratory management and accreditation. Currently serving as a National Clinical Laboratory Surveyor and Technical Training Specialist at COLA Inc. since September 2013, Jim earned the accolade of 2016 Surveyor of the Year while conducting on-site accreditation surveys in accordance with CMS Standards. Previously, Jim was Laboratory Supervisor for JPS Health Network, overseeing operations and budgets for multiple accredited laboratories and collaborating closely with medical staff. Earlier experience includes serving as Laboratory Manager at Covance, where Jim successfully managed the establishment of a new clinical laboratory under budget. Jim holds advanced degrees in Health Care Administration and Blood Bank Technology, along with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science.
