A.a. Brenner

Ari Brenner is a versatile writing and development professional with extensive experience in education, theater, and digital media. Currently serving as a Writing Specialist at Composed since March 2023, Ari teaches college essay writing to high school juniors and seniors while also coaching them through college applications. As Development Manager for CO/LAB Theater Group since January 2023, Ari leads grant writing efforts and manages donor relations. Additional roles include tutoring in math and English at Wiz + Kid Tutoring, writing and producing projects at Epiq Media, and playwrighting for La Jolla Playhouse. Earlier experience encompasses positions with The Lark Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Dramatists Guild of America, and Kitsch Magazine. Ari holds an MFA in Playwriting from Columbia University and a BA in English and Performing & Media Arts from Cornell University.
