Sara Goodwin

Sara Goodwin is a Research Assistant Professor and Project Manager at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, with extensive experience in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology evaluation, data analysis, and project management. Since 2013, responsibilities have included leading technology development and implementation within the NGS core facility. Prior to this role, Sara conducted graduate research at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on aptamers as receptors and cardiovascular biomarkers, complemented by teaching responsibilities in various biological sciences. Earlier career experience includes clinical research coordination at Hill Top Research and laboratory supervision at ZLB Bioplasma. Educational credentials include a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Molecular Bioscience and Biotechnology from Arizona State University.
