Amelia Kilvington has a diverse work experience history. Amelia began their career in 2002 as an Assistant for Students with Special Requirements at The Open University. Amelia then worked as a Teacher at Carmarthenshire LEA from 2006 to 2014. In 2007, they worked as a Photography Course Tutor at City and Guilds of London Institute. From 2011 to 2014, they served as a Lecturer in Photography at Coleg Sir Gar. In 2013, they also took on roles as a Principal Examiner in Art and Design and Team Leader at WJEC / CBAC, where they later became a Team Leader for Educas in 2017. Amelia joined Coleg Sir Gar again in 2014 as an Art and Design Lecturer, and later became the Head of Critical and Contextual Studies, Head of Section for Art & Design, and PCET PGCE Course Coordinator. In 2021, they became a Google Trainer Level 1 & 2 at Google. Apart from their professional roles, they were also involved in the Ferryside Village Forum Charity as a Charity Trustee from 2016 to 2022, and was a Student Member at The British Wheel of Yoga from 2018 to 2019.
Amelia Kilvington's education history includes a PGCE Secondary Level in English Language and Literature and Education from Swansea University. Amelia also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature, General from the University of Exeter and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art & Design: Photography from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Additionally, they attended the Institute of Leadership and Management to study Educational Leadership and Management. During their earlier years, they studied English Literature, General, Geography, and Biology at Brighton College.
