Shawne Slaughter

Shawne Slaughter is an accomplished IT Project Manager with extensive experience in managing complex and high-risk Information Technology projects. Currently serving as a Senior Principle IT Project Manager at American Electric Power since March 2021, Shawne has also held senior roles at Coleman Research, Battelle, and the Ohio Department of Education, overseeing large-scale initiatives, application development, and operational improvements. Prior positions include managing a Project Management Office for the Louisville Metro Government and leading significant projects at Humana, resulting in millions in hardware savings and successful CRM implementations. Shawne holds a Master's degree in Strategic Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Ohio Dominican University.
