Alexandra Skoog-Hoffman, PhD, is the Senior Director of Research & Learning for Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning. Prior to this, Alexandra held various roles at TNTP, including Site Manager and Analyst. Alexandra has a strong background in education and psychology, with a PhD from the University of Michigan. Alexandra has extensive experience in conducting research, program evaluations, and implementing social-emotional learning curriculums. Alexandra also has experience as a secondary English educator in the District of Columbia Public Schools. Overall, their work has focused on promoting positive academic and socio-emotional development in educational settings.

Their mission is to help make evidence-based social and emotional learning (SEL) an integral part of education from preschool through high school.
