Jeannine Sargent

Ms. Sargent brings over 30 years of International operating management, M&A, business strategy, technology and CEO/Board executive experience with a proven track record of building and and scaling multi-billion dollar businesses at the cutting edge of technology and emerging markets. A visionary leader who has successfully managed enterprise risk in the presence of digital transformation across multiple industries including Automotive/Mobility, Consumer, Energy, Enterprise Infrastructure (Hardware & Software:SaaS), Industrial, Health, and Semiconductors.

Currently Jeannine is an advisor to investment groups Generation Investment Management LLP and Breakthrough Energy Ventures; with a focus on sustainability, the energy transition, and financial inclusion.

Ms. Sargent serves on the board of directors of Synopsys Inc., an electronic design automation company that focuses on silicon design and verification, silicon intellectual property and software security and quality, Fortive Corporation, a provider of essential technologies for connected workflow solutions, and Proterra Inc., a leader in the design and manufacture of zero-emission electric transit and EV technology, She is a Director of Malta, a pioneer in long-duration energy storage. Ms. Sargent previously served as a member of the board of directors at Cypress Semiconductor Corp. She has also serviced on private company boards: Astrowatt, Kateeva, MC-10, ReVera, SiOnyx, Teravicta, and VUV Analytics.

In her operating career, Ms. Sargent held multiple executive and CEO leadership roles including at Flex Ltd., a leading global design, engineering and manufacturing company, serving as President of Innovation and New Ventures, President of Flex Energy and Managing Director of Lab IX accelerator and corporate venture fund. Prior, she was the founding CEO of Oerlikon Solar based in Switzerland, a producer of capital equipment and cell technologies for solar photovoltaic modules and CEO of Voyan Technology, an embedded systems software provider.

Jeannine’s extensive technology, global operating and board experience has spanned public, private equity, and venture capital portfolio companies. She creates exceptional leadership teams to meet market and customer needs that deliver results to shareholders. The breadth and depth of these experiences enables Jeannine to bring best practices, thoughtful advice, and oversight with actionable recommendations to her engagements.

Jeannine holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, magna cum laude, from Northeastern University, where she has served as a Trustee since 2017, and has completed executive education programs at Stanford University, MIT Sloan, Carnegie Mellon, and IMD/Harvard University.
