Michelle Garcia has over 12 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Michelle began their career in 2008 as a Medicare Membership Trainer/Customer Service Ambassador/Membership Supervisor at Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon, where they tested, trained, and implemented new software and hardware systems, and provided virtual and classroom instruction across multiple states and locations. In 2015, they joined Reliance eHealth Collaborative as an Implementation Specialist, where they identified and recruited health care providers, practices, and clinics to participate in Reliance, and facilitated and managed all enrollments, training, upgrades, and technical implementation of software for Reliance users. In 2016, they returned to Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon as a Supervisor Membership, where they managed and mentored a staff of eighteen, remote and in office enrollment specialist and group accountants. In 2018, they joined Surgical Care Affiliates as an Insurance Verification Specialist. In 2020, they joined Willamette Dental Group as a Manager Member Services-Grievances and Appeals, where they led, mentored, and inspired a team of fourteen remote employees in all member service and grievance and appeals aspects of a dental health plan/practice. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Collective Medical a PointClickCare Company as a Manager Delivery Services and Project Manager, where they provide leadership, coaching and support to the Software Configuration Consultant team and develops and maintains policies and procedures related to configuration and consulting, and is responsible for planning, managing, and implementing 10-20 projects at one time, from contract execution to go-live.
