Philippe Chedid

Philippe Chedid is a prominent clinical professor of pediatrics at Lebanese American University since 2009 and has served as the president of the board of administration at the Governmental University Hospital of Baabda since 2000. Philippe Chedid has an extensive background in pediatrics, holding the position of clinical pediatrician at University Medical Center - Rizk Hospital since January 1985 and running a private practice at Chedid's clinic in Jounieh, Lebanon, since November 1984. Philippe Chedid was previously involved with the Lebanese University from 1985 to August 2008, where contributions included serving as clinical professor, dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, and chairman of the Department of Pediatrics, which Philippe Chedid founded in 1985. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine degree from the French Faculty of Medicine in Beirut and an assistant professorship in pediatrics from the University of Florida.
