Kayla currently serves as the Launch Lead at Switchyards, where they are responsible for creating productive workspaces. Prior to this, they co-founded Collective Inc. and worked as the Founder and Head of Projects at Cobuilt. At Cobuilt, they collaborated with renowned companies in Atlanta to provide project management and consulting services. Kayla has also held positions such as Director of Operations at Calloquy, PBC, Head of Workplace & Facilities at Newell Brands, and Project Manager at Steelcase. Kayla has experience in facilities management, real estate, and overseeing large budgets. Additionally, they have worked as a Facilities Manager Consultant at FullStory and Facilities Project Manager at Haworth. Kayla began their career as an Associate Facilities Manager at Collier County Government. Kayla is highly skilled in enhancing the built environment and developing operational strategies.

Kayla Gottschalk, SFP, FMG received their education from Ferris State University. Kayla obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Facility Management in 2012 and an Associate in Applied Science degree in Architecture in the same year. Kayla also holds additional certifications, including a Facility Management Graduate (FMG) certification and a Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP®) certification, from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).
