Michael N. has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Michael began their career in 1992 as a Housing Specialist and eventually became the Assistant Director of Shelter and Homeless Services at Bell Socialization Services. In 1997, they joined York Technical Institute as a Program Director, where they focused on curriculum development and staff effectiveness. From 2001 to 2005, Michael worked as a Training and Development Specialist at Wells Fargo, where they created training measurements and oversaw conversion training. Michael then joined Argosy University as the Regional Director of Student Services, responsible for driving enrollment performance and supporting campus operations. In 2014, Michael became the Dean of Student Affairs at the Art Institute of California. Michael later joined the College Internship Program (CIP) as a Program Director, Regional Director, and ultimately became the Director of Program Operations. During their tenure at CIP, Michael oversaw center operations, ensured quality services and compliance, and facilitated communication between centers and national functions. Michael N. has a diverse educational background in the field of behavioral sciences and adult and organizational development. Michael obtained their Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Adult and Organizational Development from Temple University, where they attended from 1992 to 1998. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science from Penn State University, completing their studies from 1989 to 1991. Before attending Penn State, Michael N. also studied Behavioral Sciences at York College of Pennsylvania from 1988 to 1990, although they did not obtain a degree from that institution.
In addition to their formal education, Michael N. has also pursued certifications. Michael completed the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® Autism Spectrum Disorder Training (Specialty Topic Program) at the Crisis Prevention Institute in November 2022. Prior to that, in October 2021, they became a Certified Instructor at the Crisis Prevention Institute.
