Bill Russo-Appel

Bill Russo-Appel is an accomplished communications and public relations professional with extensive experience in higher education and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Communications and Public Relations Manager at the College of Our Lady of the Elms since September 2019, Bill oversees the college's communication strategies, media relations, and social media initiatives. Previous roles include Interim Marketing Director, Program Coordinator for Leadership Pioneer Valley, and Marketing Officer at Freedom Credit Union, where Bill directed various marketing and public relations functions. Additionally, Bill held the position of Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Wing Memorial Hospital Medical, managing comprehensive communication efforts for a substantial healthcare organization. Bill Russo-Appel holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
