Kevin Mungin

Director of Programs at COLLEGE SUCCESS FOUNDATION

Kevin has had rising responsibilities at CSF-DC for fifteen years, designing, implementing and leading student-centered programs, building collaborations with local schools, and mentoring students. He has been working with adolescents and young adults for over twenty years.

Kevin now serves as the Director of Programs and the Project Director, Upward Bound for the College Success Foundation – District of Columbia and is charged with the oversight of programming and administration. He leads a team that supports students in developing the skills for college awareness, readiness as well as the “intelligent behaviors” and “habits of mind” that will help them be successful. Kevin has presented at national conferences including the National College Attainment Network (NCAN), Best of Out-Of- School Time (BOOST) and College Board’s A Dream Deferred: The Future of African American Education. Mr. Mungin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology (concentration in Social Psychology) from the University of Maryland College Park and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. Kevin is also a professor of Psychology at Prince George’s County Community College.
