Philip Dorn

Philip Dorn has a wide range of work experience in the education sector. Philip started their career in 2012 as a Teaching Assistant at Northport Middle School. In 2013, they became a Corps Member for Teach For America. From 2013 to 2017, they held various roles at ENCORE Academy, including Middle Academy Leader and Social Studies Lead Teacher. Philip also worked as a Summer School Leader and Grade 5-7 Team Leader at ENCORE Academy during this time. In 2015, they participated in the Match Coaching Fellowship program at Match Education. In 2016, they became a RELAY National Principal Academy Fellow at Relay Graduate School of Education. Philip joined Collegiate Academies in 2017 and worked as a High School Success teacher, Instructional Leader, and AP Comparative Government Teacher until 2019. In 2019, they joined Enriched Schools as the National Director of Coaching, and simultaneously took on the role of School Leader at ENCORE Academy. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Talent at Collegiate Academies since 2022.

Philip Dorn completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History & Philosophy at Manhattan College from 2006 to 2010. Philip then pursued further education at Relay Graduate School of Education from 2016 to 2017, where they completed the NPAF Principal Program in Educational Leadership. Most recently, from 2020 to 2022, Philip Dorn attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Organizational Leadership and Strategy.
