Ian Paterson Maicd

Ian Paterson MAICD has a diverse work experience starting from 2004. Ian worked at Nine Entertainment Co. in various sales roles, including National Sales Director, Sports Sales Director, Olympic Sales Director, and Melbourne Sales Director. Ian then became the Managing Director of Nine Melbourne before taking on the role of Director Commercial Partnerships & Affiliates. In this role, they were responsible for executive leadership, commercial management, and managing Nine's affiliate partnership with Southern Cross Austereo.

After leaving Nine, Ian joined Bell Partners Financial Services as the Managing Director of High Performance. Here, they led a high-performance division that provided business consulting, executive leadership development, mentoring, innovation and transformation strategy, and business planning.

Ian is currently working as the Chief Commercial Officer at the Collingwood Football Club, where they oversee commercial operations. Ian also founded Paterson Advisory Pty Ltd, where they served as a Director until January 2023.

Ian Paterson MAICD has a diverse education history. Ian recently attended AGSM @ UNSW Business School from 2021 to 2024, where they pursued an MBA degree with a focus on Technology. In the late 1980s, they attended Deakin University for a Bachelor of Arts degree, which they completed between 1987 and 1988. Prior to that, Ian attended Carey Grammar School from 1981 to 1986, where they obtained their High School Certificate (HSC). Additionally, they are a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, although the specific dates of their membership are not provided.
