Bernhard Huber has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Bernhard has served in various strategic and managerial roles at different companies. From 2004 to 2005, they worked at Citi as a Corporate Finance Advisory. Following that, they joined Erste Group Bank AG as a Manager in Group Strategy from 2005 to 2010. In 2010, they worked as a Strategy Consultant at NMG Consulting. Bernhard then joined Commonwealth Bank in 2011 and served as a Senior Manager in Wealth Management Strategic Development for eight years until 2019. Since 2019, they have been working at Colonial First State, initially as a Senior Manager in Strategy until 2021, then as the Executive Manager in Strategy until early 2022. Following that, they held the acting position of Head of Retirement and Business Planning before becoming the Director of Strategic Advisory in August 2022.
Bernhard Huber's education history includes obtaining a Mag. (FH) degree in Banking & Finance from Fachhochschule des BFI Wien in 2004. In 2008, they pursued a Master's degree in Financial Analysis from UNSW, which they completed in 2009. Bernhard later attended Macquarie University from 2009 to 2010, where they obtained a Master's degree in International Business. In 2013, Bernhard Huber enrolled at the University of Sydney, earning a Master's degree in Political Economy. Currently, they are pursuing an Executive MBA (part-time) at AGSM @ UNSW Business School, which will be completed in 2023. Bernhard Huber has also obtained several additional certifications, including courses in Design Thinking & Experimentation, Developing Effective Negotiation Skills, and Financial Programming and Policies from institutions such as AGSM @ UNSW Business School, UNSW, and edX.
