Rebecca Bruggman

Rebecca Bruggman is currently the Head of Product Operations at Color. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Staff Technical Program Manager at Optimizely from April 2015 to December 2020.

At Optimizely, Rebecca was responsible for building the experimentation center of excellence program, which included documenting all processes, driving executive stakeholder alignment on goals, and reporting monthly and quarterly to show impact. Rebecca also oversaw the migration of all 1200 enterprise accounts totaling $100M ARR from legacy to new platform through partnership with Customer Success, creating visibility using physical kanban wall, building dashboards using SQL allowing each CSM to monitor the migration status of their entire book of business and to report on migration progress to global company. Additionally, Rebecca moved the Optimizely blog to agile delivery Jira process to improve content planning, attribution tracking and SEO, resulting in 20% annual improvement in unique page views and a 5x increase in leads. Lastly, they created a product delivery hub for the Customer Success team to have a monthly view into all features released including documentation and training materials, updates to roadmap, and summary of all feature requests.

In their current role as Head of Product Operations at Color, Rebecca is responsible for leading and managing a team of product operations professionals who are responsible for owning the product development process end-to-end. This includes defining requirements, scoping projects, managing dependencies, driving alignment across multiple stakeholders, executing on deliverables, and ensuring quality control. The team also works closely with the customer success team to ensure that customers are able to successfully use Color’s products and realize value from them.

Rebecca Bruggman has a BS and a BA from the University of California, Davis in Genetics and English respectively. Rebecca also has a 2019 Fall Growth Series certification from Reforge. Additionally, they are an Engineering Fellow with a focus in Python, Django, Flask, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from Hackbright Academy. Rebecca also has a Computer Science degree from City College of San Francisco as well as an Android Bootcamp certification from CodePath. Furthermore, Rebecca has various certifications in Advanced JavaScript, Four Semesters of Computer Science in 5 Hours, Functional-Lite JavaScript, Intermediate JavaScript Development, Python Data Structures, Optimizely X Full Stack Foundations Certification, Optimizely X Performance Foundations, and Optimizely X Strategy Expert Certification from Udemy, Frontend Masters, and Coursera respectively.
