Bridie Johnson

Senior Behavioral Health Director at Colorado Coalition for the Homeless

Bridie Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Bridie began their career as a Clinical Specialist and New Employee Trainer at The Bridges Center, where they completed assessments and therapeutic interventions for CORE services and served as a training coordinator for new therapists. Bridie then worked as a Residential Program Supervisor at Omni Visions before joining Elks Aidmore Inc as an Independent Living Program Coordinator, where they supervised the program and ensured compliance with regulations. Bridie then held roles at Holy Cross Children's Services, Saginaw County Youth Protection Council, American Indian Health & Family Services, and All Well-Being Services, where they acted as a Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor, iNNERLINK Division Director, Senior Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor, and ACT, MH, and SUD Program Supervisor, respectively. Currently, they are working as a Change Agent at Natural Change Impressions LLC. Most recently, they joined the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless as a Senior Behavioral Health Director. With their expertise and experience, Bridie has made significant contributions in the fields of behavioral health and social services.

Bridie Johnson began their education in 1989 at Delta College, where they obtained an Associates Degree in Business and Law. Bridie then went on to Saginaw Valley State University from 1992 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections.

In 1997, Bridie attended Wayne State University and completed a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a focus on Clinical and Macro Licensed, with a Marriage in Family Concentration.

Most recently, in 2019, Bridie pursued further education at the University of Michigan, where they obtained an Integrated Care Certificate for Pediatrics and Adults in the field of Integrative Care.

In addition to their formal education, Bridie Johnson has obtained various certifications. In 2002, they became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker through the State of Michigan. In 2015, they obtained a CWTI certification from the DHS State of MI. In 2019, Bridie became an International Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor through the Michigan Certified Board for Addiction Professionals. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Mental Health First Aid Instructor through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
