Austyn Dineen

Austyn Dineen serves as the I-70 Mountain Corridor Communications Manager at the Colorado Department of Transportation since October 2024, focusing on communication needs in the region. Previously, Austyn held the position of PR Director at Backbone Media from June 2022 to October 2024, providing leadership and strategic direction for multiple clients. Prior to that role, Austyn was the Director of Public Relations at the Breckenridge Tourism Office from February 2017 to October 2021, where a comprehensive communications plan was developed for a premier travel destination. Earlier experience includes serving as Audience Brand Manager at Swift Communications, Inc., and Communication Manager at Copper Mountain Resort, alongside a role as Public Relations Coordinator at Vail Resorts. Austyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Technical Journalism and Public Relations from Colorado State University, obtained in 2008.
