Ryan Magiera

Ryan Magiera has extensive experience in education and community service, currently serving as a Teacher in Residence for 5th grade at Coronado Hills Elementary since July 2015, while also working towards a Master's degree in Elementary Credential at Adams State University. In addition, Ryan has a background as a Poet with Slam Nuba and has coached various basketball teams under the Colorado High School Activities Association. With a commitment to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, Ryan serves as a Counselor at Imagine! and has held roles as a Substitute Teacher in Boulder Valley School District and a Lead Humanities Teacher at Aim High. Previous experience includes serving as a Teaching Fellow and Academic Program Lead at Citizen Schools and as a Lead Instructor at Ninde Scholars. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from Oberlin College and a high school diploma from Monarch High School, where participation in basketball was notable.
