Cathy Camp-Davidson is a seasoned music educator and professional bassist with extensive experience in teaching and performance. Currently serving as an Orchestra and Choir Teacher at Academy School District 20 since August 2022, Cathy has a diverse background as a Freelance Musician and Instructor since May 1999, offering lessons in violin, viola, cello, bass, and piano, while also performing with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and local church events. As the founder and owner of both Dragonfly String Ensemble and Tempus Strings, Cathy has produced original arrangements for string ensembles and managed performances for weddings. With past positions including music teacher roles in rural school districts and Adjunct Lecturer at Colorado State University-Pueblo, Cathy brings a wealth of knowledge in various musical styles and has contributed to youth symphonies and musical theater productions throughout their career. Educational credentials include a Master of Music in Music Performance from the University of Cincinnati and dual Bachelor's degrees in Music Performance and Music Education from the University of Arizona and Colorado State University-Pueblo.
